I know the Chaos lord is in the game to keep you on your toes, so people don't get to comfortable in-case they start thinking they have the best army, but in all honesty the Chaos army isn't even an issue anymore to me. The problem I'm having is getting rid of 'Chaos' on my lands, by the time I manage to get it all gone the Chaos lord makes another raid, and 'Boom' where back to square one.
I've defeated the Chaos lord and all his raid's, but somehow he still keeps coming back as if he is immortal, but he is not the problem I'm having. But at least I know how to get rid of 'Vampiric', simply eliminate the Vampires, I've done that before and it worked, but with Chaos. somehow despite my 'Lord' having +20 Reduction is sitting on my capital and the settlement has +5 'Vampiric'. I have on a single lord at least +20 'Vampiric' & 'Chaos' Reduction and when I station him on my main city (Settlement) I still see (+1) or (+2) Chaos instead of (-1) or (-2). I may have forgotten some, honestly I can't even tell because I've been looking around on the internet and in-game for other ways how to fight off these corruption's and I'm super confused right now. Some 'Epic' (Purple) Items that can be equipped by the 'Lord' or 'Hero' have reduction as well. (As long as the lord is within the province that is corrupted.Ĥ.
Skills give the 'Lord' or 'Hero' a passive ability to fight off attrition's, depending on the level of the skill you got a (%) of reduction. Followers and Banners, can some times give you 'Local Province' reduction passive buffs that reduce 'Vampiric' & 'Chaos' (In local province).ģ. Some buildings (e.g Empire) tend to have 'Vampiric' & 'Chaos' Reduction buffs.Ģ. Chaos as the 'affliction/attrition' is hard to get rid off of your province, and it can take a lot of turns before you completely cleanse the lands of it.Ī few things I've noticed to counter it is the following.ġ. Even if the Chaos army is not attacking, as long as 'Chaos' lingers around within local province it will grow.ģ. Once the Chaos army starts it's invasion event, all settlements have +(Number) of Chaos on their land.Ģ. So I've realized a few things when it comes to Chaos.ġ.
